About this organisation:
The Human Resource Development Authority of Cyprus (HRDA) is a semi-governmental organisation of tripartite character with a mission to create the necessary prerequisites for the planned and systematic training and development of human resources in Cyprus at all levels and in all sectors, in order to meet the needs of the economy, within the overall national socio-economic policies. The HRDA operates a number of training and development schemes and is engaged in the development and implementation of a national System of Vocational Qualifications as well as in the design of a system for the Assessment and Certification of Trainers and Training Providers.
Senior Human Resource Officer
Panicos Lasettas is working with the HRDA since 1985 and is/has been involved in the following areas of activity: introduction of an Evaluation and Certification System for Trainers and Training Providers; use of ICT in the management of HRDA activities; Training Infrastructure Support Scheme; Training of Trainers; Institutional Continuing Training Schemes and Initial Training Scheme.He is also involved in the design and formulation of the human resource training and development policies of the HRDA. He was Member of the ENQA-VET Network representing Cyprus.
